The South car parks at Braehead are at the main entrance to the shopping centre and are intwo parts with a canopied entrance corridor between them. The parking decks are spearated from the shops by a series fo bridges over a service road.

Clearspan parking is provcided at all three levels. The bottom level has paved parking bays and bituminous driveways. The upper decks are composite precast planks and insitu post-tensioned beams. The bridges are in steel and metal decks composite construction with pre-cast cladding panels to the voids formed between bridges.

There is parking for approximately 1,400 vehicales in the South car parks, with designated fire engine lanes on the roof.
