This commercial development for Hollybrook is a 7 storey high specification speculative office block.
The Cam Road office is of steel frame utilising long span precast planks with a structural topping for the floors. The floors only have 4 columns within the office space and the steel frame allowed a significant cantilever feature over the main entrance to be constructed.
In this instance a steel frame was used as the building entirely filled the plot and no working or lay down space was available. The construction of all aspects of the site was arranged around material deliveries on a just in time basis.
The development rounds off a 6 year programme of construction development in this corner of Stratford. We now completed the new buildings on Burford Road and Cam Road providing 220 private residential units, 120 social housing units and over 250,000 sq feet of office and retail space.
